GLAZING WITH AREAS CONCENTRATING LIGHT BY ION EXCHANGE

The invention relates to a flat mineral glass including a first free surface and a second free surface, and which comprises groups of areas with high (n2) and low (n1) refractive indices formed in the body of the flat glass between the first and second free surfaces, with a depth of 1 to 1000 µm from the first free surface. Said high-index and low-index areas alternate in a direction transverse to the body of the glass between the first and second free surfaces, the areas with a high refractive index widen from the first free surface towards the second free surface, and the surfaces enclose areas with a high index forming an angle (?) of at least 65° with regard to the first free surface.
