The hose (10) has an electrically isolating base material embedded with nano-particles (12) and/or nano plates (14). The base material consists of elastomer on basis of silicone, polyurethane and/or acryl. The nano-particle is formed of oxide such as silicon dioxide, alumina and/or titanium oxide, and/or silicate, sulfate, lithopone, silicon carbide, soot and/or aluminum nitride. The nano-particles are finely distributed in the hose.
