The method for processing of fermentation waste from biogas production, comprises introducing (a) the fermentation waste in a device for the separation of solid materials, separating (b) the fermentation waste in a phase enriched with coarse solid materials and a phase removed from coarse solid materials, (c) discharging the phase enriched with coarse solid matter, (d) transferring the phase removed from the coarse solid materials into a device for microfiltration, separating (e) the phase removed from the coarse solid materials into a microfiltrate and in a retentate-phase, transferring the retentate-phase into a retentate-decanter, supplying a flocculants into the retentate-decanter and mixing the flocculants with the retentate-phase, separating the retentate-phase in the phase enriched with the solid materials and the phase removed from the solid materials, discharging the phase enriched with the solid materials, recycling the phase removed from the solid materials into the device for microfiltration, flowing the microfiltrates, conditioning the microfiltrates, introducing the conditioned microfiltrates through a fine filter into a device for carrying out a permeate-staggered reverse osmosis, separating the conditioned microfiltrates in a concentrate enriched with nutrients and salts, and a permeate containing water, discharging the concentrate, transferring the permeate into a device for permeate conditioning, conditioning the permeate and discharging the conditioned permeate. The transferring and recycling of the phase removed from the solid materials are carried out by transferring the phase removed from the coarse solid materials during the separation of fermentation waste, into a collection container, transferring the phase removed from the solid materials into the collection container during the separation of the retentate-phase and mixing the phase removed from the solid materials with the phase removed from the coarse solid materials for forming a mixed phase, and transferring the mixed phase contained in the collection container in a device for microfiltration. The flowing of the microfiltrates is carried out by transferring the microfiltrates in a device for filtrate conditioning. Before introducing the microfiltrates into reverse osmosis, the microfiltrates are transferred into a device for ultrafiltration, the microfiltrates are separated into solid-free ultrafiltrates to form a retentate phase enriched with solid and the ultrafiltrate is supplied into a device for filtrate conditioning. The ultra-filtrate retentate is re-supplied into the device for ultrafiltration. Before transferring the permeate, the fermentation residue is subjected into a supply decanter and the separation of the fermentation residue is carried out in a phase enriched with coarse solid materials. The fermentation residue is subjected into a press screw separator and the separation of the fermentation residue in a phase enriched with the coarse solid materials and a thin sludge-film discharged from the coarse solid material using the press screw separator. The transferring of the thin sludge phase is carried out in a spiral filter plant and the separation of the thin-film phase is carried out in a filtrate and a solid-rich phase. An independent claim is included for a plant for processing fermentation waste from biogas production.</p>
