The valve (1) has an inlet (7) with a choke valve (9), and a diffuser (10) that is arranged between the choke valve and a valve seat (6). The inlet comprises a narrowing part, where the narrowing part comprises a truncated cone section (11) with a sharp-edged outlet. A side of the narrowing part faces toward the valve seat. The truncated cone section runs into the diffuser with an angle between 5 and 25 degrees. A cylindrical disk-shaped outlet wall is arranged between the outlet and a diffuser main body. The outlet wall is aligned at right angles to a diffuser longitudinal axis. An independent claim is also included for an injecting device for injecting fuel from a high-pressure reservoir into a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine. |
