PURPOSE: A host device sharing a favorite sharing list and a favorite sharing method thereof are provided to omit a procedure for the search and the selection of an image reading device by sharing the favorite sharing list. CONSTITUTION: A universal image scanning device driver searches an image reading device, registers the image reading device on a favorite sharing list and selects the list as a sharing object. An input unit(120) receives a request signal for sharing the favorite sharing list. A network interface(130) searches a host device. If the searched host device is connected to the host device, the network interface transmits and receives the favorite list according to the request of the host device.
