SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING AIR-CONDITIONING OF SUBWAY COACH USING CARBON DIOXIDE CONCENTRATION, AND METHOD FOR THE SAME

PURPOSE: A system and a method for controlling the air conditioning of a cabin using carbon dioxide concentration are provided to maintain indoor temperature by operating a cooling mode based on the amount of passengers. CONSTITUTION: A system(100) for controlling the air conditioning of a cabin using carbon dioxide concentration comprises a carbon dioxide sensor(110), a passenger number converter(130), a heating value calculator(140), a cabin cooling controller. The carbon dioxide sensor detects carbon dioxide concentration in a cabin. The passenger number converter converts the number of passengers corresponding to the detected carbon dioxide concentration. The heating value calculator calculates a total heating value of the passengers. The cabin cooling controller variously controls the operation of an air conditioner by comparing the calculated heating value with a standard heating value.
