<p>The plate has a frame (2) made of a plastic and including a plate (4) with a set of holes (6). A set of receptacles (3) made up of plastic is fixedly connected to the plate at the holes by direct molding process, and includes a receiving portion that protrudes from a lower side (8) of the plate and is accessible from an upper surface (7) of the plate through apertures (15). The receptacles include a variable cross-section in an axial direction and/or at a marginal area of the holes and wall portions (10, 11) adjacent to a receptacle bottom (9). An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a microtitration plate.</p> |
