The invention relates to a continuous-casting mould with a modular structure, having a plate module (2), which comprises wide-side walls (4) and narrow-side walls (5), that form the mould cavity, and the support walls (4c, 5c) thereof, and having two drive modules (1a, 1b) which are assigned drive units. In order to clearly separate the wearing parts and drive and control components in the modules and to minimize storage costs, each of the two drive modules (6a, 6b) comprises an oscillation drive (6) for oscillation of the mould, a narrow-side adjusting device (7) for adjusting the casting width and for setting the taper of the narrow-side walls, and a wide-side drive (8) having an expanding and clamping device (9) for clamping the narrow-side walls (5) between the wide-side walls (4) and for changing the thickness format in a changeable assembly, and the plate module (2) is formed as a changeable assembly in a manner free of expanding devices, clamping devices and adjusting devices in order to position the walls of the mould with respect to one another.
