<p>The invention concerns a method of performing a test of a transceiver (TR) and a transceiver (TX) to execute said method. The transceiver (TX) comprises a radio frequency transmitter unit (TXU) with a transmitter oscillator (408) providing a carrier frequency of an outgoing radio frequency signal of the radio frequency transmitter unit (TXU), and a radio frequency receiver unit (RXU) with a receiver oscillator (308) providing a frequency signal for demodulation of an incoming radio frequency signal. A signal of the transmitter oscillator (408) is coupled to one or more circuit points of the receiver unit (RXU). Alternatively, a signal of the receiver oscillator (308) is coupled to one or more circuit points of the transmitter unit (TXU). A test circuit (TC) controls the signal of the transmitter oscillator (408) or receiver oscillator (308) to perform the test.</p> |
