METHOD FOR EXTRACTING ISOSURFACE WITH MESH CONTINUITY AND RECORDING MEDIUM THEREOF

PURPOSE: A parallel iso-surface extracting method and a recording medium thereof is provided to remove an extraction of a duplicated vertex between neighboring cells by inspecting a three edges per cell. CONSTITUTION: Each cell is classified. A histopyramid is generated about an arrangement which stored a triangulation index count and an arrangement which stored a unique vertex count. A key index is generated as much as a total number of the unique vertex point. In a specific coordinate, a value which added a key index value in a total number of the existing unique vertex point is stored in a location corresponding to a cell in an index arrangement. A key index is generated as much as a total number of the triangle index. In a marching cube case array, a value corresponding to a specific coordinate is read. A triangular index inside a cell is brought.
