In the removal of dust particles from a suspension of the particles in gaseous medium, arising from an appts. for the sepn. or prepn. of a suspension or emulsion e.g. the prepn. of milk powder or asphalt from bitumen by spray-drying, by means of a wet deduster, the liquid phase, e.g. milk, employed for the suspension or emulsion is used as the wet deduster liquid.
