Container and method for producing a connection between a lower part and upper part of a container

The container has a lower part with an accommodating space for items. An upper part (1) is connected with the lower part and is formed as a cover. The connection between the lower and upper parts is established such that the accommodating space is tightly closed without sprouts. The connection of the parts is in the form of welding connection e.g. ultrasonic or laser welding connection, adhesive connection or hot embossing connection. The upper and lower parts are made of plastic or glass. The upper part has a cover surface (2) and a boundary (3) extending parallel to the cover surface.
