A method of transmitting content data to a wireless terminal is disclosed, comprising: establishing simultaneous communication links between a plurality of base stations and the terminal; distributing content data between said plurality of base stations, wherein the content data units distributed to each of the base stations comprise non-identical portions of the content data from the data source; and transmitting the distributed content data units on said plurality of simultaneous communications links from the plurality of base stations to the terminal. |
