<p>Use of methotrexate is claimed for the preparation of parenteral medicament to treat inflammatory autoimmune disease, where the methotrexate is added to a pharmaceutically compatible solvent, in a concentration of more than 25 mg/ml. Independent claims are included for: (1) a ready-made syringe and carpule, comprising a formulation of methotrexate, which is added to a pharmaceutically compatible solvent, in a concentration of more than 25 mg/ml; and (2) a pen-injector comprising the carpule.
