The invention relates to a profile (1) to serve as an element of a structure for the construction of walls, comprising at least one wall (2) and at least one flange (3). With the goal of constructing the profile (1) of lightweight construction and still meeting the requirements of the static characteristics, it is provided in the invention that, firstly, the wall (2) has at least two supporting stiffening ribs (5, 5') oriented substantially in the long direction of the profile, taking up acted on the profile (1) forces and withdrawing them in the long direction of the profile, and, secondly, a set of connecting stiffening ribs (7), that are each disposed between the supporting stiffening ribs (5, 5') and mechanically connected to at least two supporting stiffening ribs (5, 5') so that to take up torsion forces and transmit them to the associated supporting stiffening ribs (5, 5'). |
