PURPOSE: An image display current supply device and a method thereof are provided to control a lamp operation used according to brightness on each display area and supply a different current to the lamp unit according to the lamp operation, thereby reducing power consumption. CONSTITUTION: An image display current supply device comprises the following units. A lamp unit(200) is made of a lamp switch for controlling operations of lamps. A current supply unit(100) supplies the same current to each lamp. A lamp control signaling unit(500) generates a lamp control signal. A wheel current unit(300) makes each operation lamp operated by the same current. A variable resistance unit generates a feedback current according to a resistance value varied by lamp control signals(400). |
