PURPOSE: An apparatus for handling a wasted nuclear fuel rod is provided to build a mass operation system and improve the convenience of a user by automating wasted nuclear fuel rod cutting and handling processes. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for handling a wasted nuclear fuel rod(10) includes a base frame(100), a conveying unit(200), a gripping unit(300), a cutting unit(400), a driving unit(500), a discharging unit(600). The gripping part fixes the wasted nuclear fuel rod. The cutting unit is formed at one side of the gripping unit and cuts a wasted nuclear fuel rod into a pre-set length using a blade.
