CONSTITUTION: A positive electrode active material contains lithium metal oxide core of chemical formula 1, Li[Li_xMe_yM_z]O_(2+d) and an oxide coating layer formed on the lithium metal oxide core. A lithium battery has a positive electrode have the positive electrode active material. A method for preparing the lithium battery comprises: a step of preparing the positive electrode; a step of mixing a negative electrode active material, conductive material, binder, and solvent to obtain a negative electrode mixture material; a step of directly coating the mixture material on a cupper collector to obtain a negative electrode plate; a step of separately casting the mixture material to a support; and a step of laminating the negative electrode active material to the cupper collector to obtain negative electrode plate.
