PURPOSE: A light illuminating apparatus with a network switch communication function and a method of the same are provided to separately select light illuminating units by including a switching function. CONSTITUTION: A light illuminating unit(100) includes a plurality of light emitting units. An input output port(160) transmits and receives a controlling signal in order to control the drive of a light emitting unit and other light emitting units which are in connection through network. A switch unit(151) transmits the controlling signal to the light emitting unit and other light emitting units through the input output port.
