PURPOSE: A jig apparatus for installation of sensors on a rail is provided to attach sensors accurately in the set positions by determining the installation positions in advance and holding the sensors. CONSTITUTION: A jig apparatus for installation of sensors on a rail comprises a bottom plate(2) and a cover plate(3) which is pivotally connected to both sides of the bottom plate. The cover plate is composed of a vertical part(31) which is located to face the vertical side of a rail when rotated to cover the rail and a middle part(32) which is installed between the vertical part and the bottom plate. A mounting member(4) is provided on the inner side of the vertical part to cover an edge of a sensor(200) and fix the position of the sensor.
