MUSIC SOURCE MONITORING SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A sound source monitoring system and a method thereof are provided to support copyright holders of corresponding sound source by recognizing only a music part except voice of announcer/MC/guest in a TV or broadcasting, recognizing what music is the music and grasping whether the corresponding music is frequently used in a broadcasting. CONSTITUTION: A sound source monitoring system(100) comprises as follows. A music extracting module extracts a music interval based on a classified result by classifying a broadcasting signal into an interval, an advertisement interval and a music interval. A characteristic extracting module generates a plurality of indexes about the extracted music interval by dividing a total or one part of extracted music interval into a plurality of frames and analyzing a frequency histogram about each frame. A search module searches a sound source corresponding to extracted music interval based on at least one among the indexes and a frequency histogram analyzing result about the search target sound source and at least one among the indexes.
