#CMT# #/CMT# The assembly has a stud-support (2) fixed at a coq and positioned to allow fixation of an external end of a spiral (1) in a channel (3). The stud-support houses a stud (10). A fixing screw (11) is formed with a threaded body (12) to push the stud towards a support face (7) of the channel and to fix the spiral by interposition between the stud and the support face of the channel. The fixing screw has a needle (15) provided in prolongation of the threaded body, and the stud has a housing (16) in which the needle is inserted. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is also included for a method for fixing a peripheral end of a spiral in a hair-spring device for timepiece. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Assembly for fixing a peripheral end of a spiral of a hair-spring device for a timepiece i.e. watch (all claimed). #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The assembly facilitates the installation and fine adjustment of the active length of the spiral, thus minimizing a delicate handling process. The stud is equipped with an anti-friction case arranged on a face to cooperate with the spiral, thus facilitating longitudinal slip and adjustment of the spiral. The connection between the stud and the screw by the needle penetrates freely in housing, so that the stud can be easily maintained in the channel without any loss.
