FIELD: machine building. ^ SUBSTANCE: bumper consists of flexible element in form of steel cable wound along spiral, and of first and second bearing plates with orifices. Axes of orifices are located in cross planes of the bearing plates. Turns of the flexible cable element pass through orifices and are fixed in the orifices of the bearing plates with fastening devices. Width of the bearing plates is 1.5-2.5 times bigger, than diametre of the cable dk. The fastening device of the cable in the bearing plates corresponds to an arrester. The orifices in the bearing plates in the middle part have a cylinder shape with length at least equal to diametre of the orifice, while on the right and left sides they are conic at angle at least equal to 1-3.
