FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of producing a component of low-temperature ballistic powder of -polyoxymethylene. The method of producing -polyoxymethylene involves polymerisation of trioxane in a medium of tetrachloromethane in the presence of methanol and oleum, as well as stearic acid in amount of 1.5-1.8% of the weight of trioxane, used as an additional component.
