FIELD: medicine, pharmaceutics. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oligosaccharide, suitable for vaccine against meningitis A, which includes first mannose unit, which has spacer in alfa-configuration in C-1, where said spacer is able to conjugate with protein, and bound to second mannose unit by 1,6-bond, which binds C-6 of first unit with C-1 of second unit, 1,6-bond including phosphonate. Invention also relates to methods of obtaining oligosaccharide and improved methods of obtaining mannose derivative, suitable for obtaining immunogenic oligosaccharide.
