POWER GATING DEVICE

PURPOSE: A power gating device is provided to stably maintain the data of a functional block by supplying standby power to a memory part during the standby mode of a system. CONSTITUTION: A controller(160) generates a first interrupt signal when an operation mode is switched to a standby mode. The controller generates a second interrupt signal when the standby mode is switched to the operation mode. A memory part(120) stores the data of the functional block based on a first interrupt signal. The memory part restores the saved data to the functional block based on a second interrupt signal. A power part(140) supplies operating power to the functional block and the memory part during the operation mode. The power part supplies standby power to the memory part during the standby mode.
