PURPOSE: A method for controlling a mobile terminal is provided to effectively inform a user of unread event using a light emitting pattern or light color. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal(100) comprises a wireless communications unit(110), a display unit(151), and a user input portion(130). The user input portion includes the hardware key button equipped with a light emitting device. If there remains an unread event, the key button continuously generate light emitting device. A control unit(180) controls to display the unread event list when a user manipulates the key pad. |
