DRAIN DEVICE AND REFRIGERATOR HAVING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A drain apparatus and a refrigerator including the same are provided to ensure a simplified structure of drain apparatus in which a drain pipe has a single flow channel and a drain valve is installed in an expanded part in the middle of the single flow channel. CONSTITUTION: A drain apparatus comprises a drain pipe and a valve member. The drain pipe has a single flow channel(121) with both ends open. The valve member has a ball shape and is inserted in the drain pipe to selectively open and close the flow channel. The drain pipe has an expanded part(122) in the middle of the flow channel, wherein the diameter of the expanded part is greater than that of the valve member so that the flow channel is opened as the valve member is moved in the radial direction.
