PURPOSE: A session management method for the configuration of a stable multicast tree of a relay transmission overlay multicast and an apparatus thereof are provided to supply a group service based on the relay transmission overlay multicast. CONSTITUTION: An agent notifies a session manager about a session management method when terminating the session in an authentication server(132). The agent authenticates a mobile terminal by notifying the session manager when the agent recognizes the mobile terminal. The agent notifies the session manager about the abnormal of the mobile terminal agent communication.
