A method for treatment of myofascial pain syndrome comprises the effect on trigger points. The visual identification is carried out by ultrasound scanning of trigger points of damaged muscle. The trigger points are inactivated under ultrasound control by means of causing of local spasm effect (local twitch response, LTR) by "dry" acupuncture and/or manual therapy, physiotherapeutic means or drugs, treatment course is - 1-3 procedures. |
