PURPOSE: A device for using a geo tagging function is provided to immediately check a picture image as an image including a text showing a date, time, an administrative location or a POI location of a picture. CONSTITUTION: A device for using a geo tagging function comprises the following units. A GPS signal receiving unit(110) receives a GPS signal for finding a location of a user by longitude and latitude. A GPS engine unit(120) stores data from world map data and selectively searches data for mapping longitude on latitude and tags searched data in attribute information about an image file.
