PURPOSE: An image processing device and a method thereof are provided to supply a stereoscopic video service while maintaining transmission capacity of video data small and generating and displaying stereoscopic video by using additional data and a reference data transmitted in non real time. CONSTITUTION: An image processing apparatus comprises as follows. A storing unit stores the first video data. An identification unit(110) determines whether the first time point video data is stored in the storing unit or not if the second time point video data is received. A processing unit(130) generates a stereoscopic video by combining the first time point video data and the second time point video data if the first time point video data is stored in the storing unit.
