<p>The noise insulating properties of the panels, used especially for the cladding of internal walls, is considerably improved as well as the ability to remove wall paper from the panels without damaging them. A synthetic foam layer is covered with a paper coated gyspum plate and a resin plate. Between at least one set of layers a series of parallel arranged foam battens is fitted so that channel-like hollow spaces are formed between the panels, which are preferably filled with loose glass fibres. At least one side of the foam layer is impregnated with a liquid resin, which when cured bonds the foam more strongly to the covering panel and which also acts as a moisture barrier.</p> |
