摘要 <p>A fluid conduit assembly (10c) when two pipes (12) are joined by a sleeve (14c) is disclosed. The assembly (10c) is designed with a maximum temperature gradient across the sleeve (14c) for a particular change in temperature of the fluid flowing though the assembly (10c). For example a change in the fluid temperature of 100 Deg F would cause a maximum temperature variation across any two points on the sleeve (14c) of the assembly to be 20 Deg F. This is achieved in part by the selection of the length of an adhesive zone (P1) at each end of the sleeve (14c) and the length of a tube stop zone (LT) separating the two pipes (12) to maximise the heat transfer rate across the assembly and minimise stresses across the joint.</p>
