The device has a cylindrical semi-rigid cushion maintained perpendicular to a vertebral column of a person by a thoracic strap of a harness and by shoulder straps (2). The cushion is constituted of a flexible envelope i.e. sock (5), containing a dense foam cylinder. The straps are made of elastic material, and are equipped with length adjusting systems for adjusting length of the straps, respectively.
