PURPOSE: A signal transmission device for an air conditioner is provided to prevent changes in impedance by keeping the position of the core against the vibration of a refrigerant pipe, thereby improving the communication performance. CONSTITUTION: A signal transmission device for an air conditioner comprises a pipe, a signal terminal, and a core assembly. The pipe interconnects an outdoor unit and an indoor unit. The signal terminal is coupled to the pipe and transmits/receives electric signals through the pipe. The core assembly creates impedance on the electric signals transmitted through the signal terminal. The core assembly comprises a core(110) which surrounds the pipe, a core holder(120) for holding the core, and a core supporter(130) which is installed in the core holder to make the interior of the core contact at least a point of the exterior of the pipe.
