<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve work efficiency when a sealing material is joined to the side end of a hollow synthetic resin plate by heat fusion. <P>SOLUTION: An apparatus 1 for sealing the side end of the hollow synthetic resin plate 4 which joins the sealing material 5 to the side end of the hollow synthetic resin plate 4 by heat fusion includes a sealing material feeding mechanism 400 which holds the sealing material 5 pressably along the side end of the hollow plate 4 and is made to be contacted/separated with/from the side end of the hollow plate 4, a long heating body 303 which contacts the side end of the hollow plate 4 and the sealing material 5 and melts the parts to be joined of both, and a heating body supporting mechanism 300 which positions the heating body 303 between the side end of the hollow plate 4 and the sealing material 5 to bring both into contact and after that makes the heating body 303 retreat from the position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
