PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating metal material which solves the problem of corrosion resistance and processability by paying attention to a urethane resin film as a surface treatment material capable of being substituted for a chromate treatment material and attains satisfactory performance and which is advantageous in workability and cost by treatment in a single layer. SOLUTION: The coating metal material excellent in corrosion resistance has the urethane resin film consisting essentially of a polyurethane resin on a metal material. The polyurethane resin has a siloxane bond (Si-O-Si) or a Si-O bond in a resin skeleton and a contact angle of the urethane resin film with water at 20°C is 60°or more.
