PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biodegradable face cover made of a nonwoven fabric that is obtainable by spunbonding technique because of being good in yarn manufacturing performance and openability, excellent in flexibility and heat sealability, and slight in shrinkage even after undergoing any processing, and, in addition, enabling its own composting treatment after used. SOLUTION: The biodegradable face cover is made of a nonwoven fabric whose constituent fibers are conjugate fibers each containing a polylactic acid-based polymer having a melting point of not less than 160°C, and an aliphatic polyester polymer having a melting point of not less than 50°C, lower than that of the polylactic acid-based polymer. The aliphatic polyester polymer forms at least part of the surface of the conjugate fiber, and is constituted by 1,4-butanediol and succinic acid as the constituent components, and contains at least one selected from higher fatty acid, higher fatty acid metal salt, phenylphosphonic acid metal salt, and amide wax in an amount of 0.1-1 mass%.
