PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine allowing a player to retain a sense of expectancy for the continuing period of a time reduction game even after winning a jackpot or after termination of a jackpot game state. SOLUTION: In the game machine 1, if a jackpot is won in a normal game state, the game state is shifted to a time reduction addition mode game state after termination of a jackpot game. If a jackpot is won and the game state is shifted to the time reduction game state while the game state is not the time reduction addition mode game state, a prescribed number of rounds (100 rounds) of the time reduction game are granted. On the other hand, if a jackpot is won in the time reduction addition mode game state, a prescribed number of rounds (10,000 rounds) of the time reduction game are granted.
