PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical substance emission evaluating method capable of easily evaluating the emission of a chemical substance in a short time. SOLUTION: The chemical substance emission evaluating method includes: a first change step of injecting a charge into a first chemical substance, thereby changing it into a second chemical substance being a radical cation; a second change step of recombining the second chemical substance being the radical cation with a charge, thereby changing it into a third chemical substance having an excitation biradical structure; and a measurement step of detecting light emitted when the third chemical substance having the excitation biradical structure is changed into a fourth chemical substance having a base biradical structure. In the first change step, the first chemical substance is put in a tube, and the tube in which the first chemical substance is put is irradiated with X-rays, thereby injecting the charge into the first chemical substance.
