PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel capable of achieving a higher magnification by reducing spacing between a first group unit and a second group unit in an optical axis direction in a telephoto position. SOLUTION: The lens barrel includes: the first group unit 100 which holds a first lens group 101; a first cam member 301 coupled to the first group unit 100 through a cam means to be movable in the optical axis direction; a second cam member 401 coupled to the first cam member 301 through a cam means to be movable in the optical axis direction; the second group unit 2000 which holds a second lens group 201; and a third cam member 402 coupled to the second group unit 2000 through a cam means to be movable in the optical axis direction. A plurality of cam follower parts 2101c of the second group unit 2000 are disposed at the position, which is positioned apart from the cam groove parts 301c and 301d of the first cam member 301 and overlapped in the optical axis direction.
