The embodiments of the present invention disclose a method and device for obtaining video quality parameter and an electronic equipment. The method includes: dividing the target video segment into at least one subdivided video segment; the duration of each subdivided video segment is at least the perception time of human eyes; obtaining the video quality parameters of said subdivided video segments; processing the video quality parameters of said subdivided video segments to obtain the video quality parameter of said target video segment. By the embodiments of the present invention, the veracity of the video quality estimation can be improved.
