COMPOSITION FOR TREATMENT OF PORCINE PROLIFERATIVE ENTEROPATHY COMPRISING CHLORATE

PURPOSE: A composition containing chlorate is provided to safely and effectively treat porcine proliferative enteropathy. CONSTITUTION: A composition for treating porcine proliferative enteropathy contains 5-75 mM of chlorate. The composition additionally contains Prunus mume var alba extract or sodium nitrate. The Prunus mume var alba extract is obtained by adding water to Prunus mume var alba, heating, separating supernatant, and filtering. The concentration of the Prunus mume var alba extracts is 0.05-1.0%. The sodium nitrate is contained in 1-5 mM. The composition is used in the form of oral administration. The composition is administered in the amount of 0.1-100mg/kg once or several times a day.
