PURPOSE: A digital video recorder and a video recording method with an air cleaning function are provided to stably maintain a motion sensing function and an air cleaning function through a sub battery power source. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle diagnostic central control part(200) controls and supplies the power. The power source is provided from the vehicle diagnostic central control part. A recording part(300) performs the air purification operation. The power source is provided from the vehicle diagnostic central control part. A motion detection sensor(400) performs visibility by using radio frequency.
