<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an implantation material for a cartilage by which the lost part of the cartilage can be easily restored. <P>SOLUTION: The implantation material 1 for the cartilage is formed in a multilayer block shape in which porous gelatin layers 2, 3 having different porosities are piled up and is characterized in that the porous gelatin layer 3 with the porosity lower than the other part is arranged in one face. The flowing in of blood flow is limited by the porous gelatin layer 3 with lower porosity, infiltration of cartilage cells into the gelatin layer 2 with higher porosity is accelerated, thereby the growth of the cartilage cells is accelerated and early time restoration of the lost part formed in the cartilage can be attained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
