PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To bring an introduction rate of a monomer unit containing a metal salt of an ionic group close to a stoichiometric value of charge and to achieve a high molecular weight and further to suppress decomposition of the polymer in the polymerization method for a polymer, which method performs desalting polycondensation of the monomer containing a metal salt of an ionic group.
