PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a harmful arthropod pest control agent exhibiting excellent biological activity against harmful arthropod pests such as insects and ticks. SOLUTION: The harmful arthropod pest control agent contains a pyridazinone compound expressed by formula (I) and controls harmful arthropod pests. In the formula, R1represents alkyl or alkyl-oxyalkyl; R2represents hydrogen or alkyl; G represents hydrogen or the like; Z1represents alkyl; Z2represents alkyl or aryl; and n is 0-4.
