PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multimedia processing control apparatus capable of controlling a component even when a component control part exists in an address space different from the component. SOLUTION: The multimedia processing control apparatus 1 has: a table 31 which maintains identifiers of the components 15-17 of a node 101 corresponding to identifiers of the components 15-17 of a node 102, respectively; a control part API 12 which, on issuance of a request, refers to the table 31, converts each of the identifiers of the components 15-17 of the node 101 specified by the component control part 11 into the identifiers of the components 15-17 of the node 102, and issues the request; a processing part API 13 which issues a request converted from the address space where the components 15-17 exist; and a component processing part 14 which controls the components 15-17 based on the converted request.
