PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure safety of work by making so as not to open a door of a fastener feeding passage at driving work of the fastener. SOLUTION: In the impact tool, a cylindrical contact member 10 slidable along a driving direction of the fastener is provided on a distal end of a nose part 3 for driving out the fastener by a driver 7 driven by a hitting mechanism, and on an upper part of the contact member 10, the door 13 is openably/closably provided on one side of the fastener feeding passage arranged between the nose part 3 and a magazine 4 charged with the fastener. An extension part 18 extending to an operation area of the contact member 10 is formed on a part of the door 13, and at driving of the fastener, when a distal end of the contact member 10 is pressed to a material to be driven and is slid to an opposite side to the driving direction, it is formed such that the extension part 18 of the door 13 intrudes to an inner side of the contact member 10.
